I received the profiles and track alignment charts for this obscure shortline which became a T&P property by 1923.
The M&NW had a wooden two-story enginehouse. The nearby depot was a two-story structure which stood until at least the late 1950s as an apartment building.
Photos indicate at least one wooden coach, a baggage-RPO car, and one steam locomotive. The 2-8-0 locomotive was either ex-T&P or ex-SP.
Mixed train service by No. 1 and No. 2 made stops at Midland, Thaxter, South Camp, Harvey, Fasken, Florey, and Seminole.

M&NW president T. J. O'Donnell had earlier built a roadbed from Stanton to Lamesa for the West Texas & Northern. At the same time he was chosen president of the Panhandle Short Line, which had a roadbed Hereford to Dimmitt. The Santa Fe 'hired' him to drop these projects and build their Slaton-Lamesa line. A station on that line was named for him.
All this became entangled with the Gulf, Soash & Pacific, projected Big Spring-Lamesa.
Santa Fe planned a Lamesa-Sterling City line, but it was not built. Santa Fe had an option on the Stanton-Lamesa roadbed.
