Train Kills Two Teens

Oct. 11, 1959 — Two Clyde teen-age boys are killed when an eastbound Texas & Pacific passenger train runs over them while they are sleeping on the railroad tracks. A third teen wakes up in time to see the train’s lights bearing down on them. The survivor tells lawmen they were walking to Baird when they decided to rest about 4 a.m.
