T&P E7-A #2003

Description

It was built 8/41 according to Kevin Eudaly''s book on Mopac Diesel Power. Builder''s number is 69500. It was later renumbered to MP 6603 (do not know the year, possibly 1961) and retired 2/67, then sold to Silcott Railway Equipment 2/67. Then it went to Precision National Corp. for repairs/overhaul and then to Morrell & Co., Ottumwa, Iowa. The #4 had an older "sister" #3, built 11/40, builder''s no. 69381. It was retired 11/66 and sold to Standard Gravel Co. of Clifton, Louisiana in 12/66. -- Ed Hawkins
