Photograph of an engraving of the city of Fort Worth, Texas. The image depicts Fort Worth with buildings stretching into the distance and five plumes of smoke rising from throughout, two of which can be seen to come from train engines. The caption of the image is "Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, 1876. 'Queen of the Prairies.'" The "Queen of the Prairies" phrase comes from a nickname for Fort Worth. Written below the image is "This engraving is part of an 1876 T&P map," and "J.C. McDaniel."
