Toyah was a crew change point for many years; and this structure probably was a crew dormitory much as other railroads had railroad YMCAs. A retired T&P employee who worked the "3rd trick" at Toyah in 1958 told me he played pool there when off duty. The restaurant part of the building may have been open to the public. As far as I can determine, the building no longer exists. It may have been torn down when the T&P crew change point was moved to Big Spring.
